Texas Guaranteed Student Loan
Corp. (TG) - Default Aversion, Claims and Collections System (DACCS)
Allied Consultants Inc (ACI) participated in the analysis, development,
testing, and now maintenance using automated and manual methods
to convert the legacy Default Prevention, Claims and Collections
systems at Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation (TG) to a
new system known as Default Aversion Claims and Collections Systems
(DACCS).
This system is a custom implementation of American Management
Software’s (AMS) Advanced Student Loan - Case Management
software and its Advance Student Loan Accounting software. This
complex system is replacing TG’s legacy student loan default
prevention and loan collections systems. As part of this effort,
ACI is assisting TG in the migration from ADABAS to DB2 and significant
amounts of data are being converted. Additionally, reports must
be redesigned and/or newly developed as a result of functionality
provided by the packaged solution. ACI staff are also assisting
in the development of custom interfaces, analysis and planning
preliminary for the initiation of the large-scale DACCS user acceptance
test.
